The Graduate School of Medical Sciences (GSMS) trains and educates excellent researchers and promotes excellent research. The GSMS is responsible for all Research Master and PhD education and training programmes within the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG). 

The GSMS is one of the nine graduate schools within the University of Groningen and is covering five research institutes: GUIDE, CRCG, SHARE, BCN and W.J. Kolff.
